• TIFR - (MATHS, CHEMISTRY & LIFE SCIENCES )


    TIFR-The Tata Institute of Fundamental Research

    The Graduate Programme at TIFR is classified into the following Subjects - Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer & Systems Sciences (including Communications and Applied Probability) and Science Education. It is conducted at the Mumbai campus and various National Centres of TIFR. These campuses are located in Pune, Bangalore and Hyderabad.

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

    For Ph.D. (Mumbai): M.Sc./B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech./M.A./ B.A./B.Sc. degree holders.

    For Ph.D. (Bangalore): M.A./M.Sc. Degree holders.

    Students who wish to apply for the Ph.D. programme at CAM, Bangalore will have to select Ph.D. Mumbai in the application form. Further, in the application, they can indicate their preference for being considered for Ph.D. programme Bangalore.

    Similarly students applying for Int. Ph.D. Bangalore and who wish to be considered for Ph.D. Mumbai can indicate their preference in the application form.

    Final year students with consistently good academic record and knowledge of advanced topics may also apply for the relevant subjects.

    Candidates not holding a Master's degree and admitted to a Ph.D. programme can receive an M.Sc. degree by fulfilling prescribed requirements.

    Examination schedule: TIFR is held Nationwide in the 2nd week of December.

    Class Schedule at Pie Education: This program will have classes during the weekend on Saturday & Sunday for3-4 hours each day. Classes can be held during morning or evening at the institute’s discretion.

    Subjects Covered: MATHS, CHEMISTRY & LIFE SCIENCES  

    Course duration: The classes will be held during weekend for 2 months.

    Course Fees: 18,000/-(Including Service Tax)
